The Supreme State Audit of Albania

The Official Visit of a High Level Delegation of Slovenian Court of Audits in Albania

On March 15, Mr. Igor Soltes, the President of the Court of Audit of Slovenia, paid an official visit to the State Supreme Audit.

The heads of both institutions exchanged their experiences and opinions related to the institution’s activities, emphasizing the fight against corruption.

Further discussions were held for a possible bilateral cooperation, especially for the organization of joint environmental audits, due to the countries’ borders in the Adriatic sea.

During the meeting it was stressed that Albania’s coastline as an ecological treasure must be preserved by raising international organizations awareness as well.

Both parts expressed their willingness to establish joint working groups even with other Adriatic countries, finalizing their effort in the organization of a regional conference in Albania.
