During the meeting with President Jezierski, the Chairman of ALSAI, Mr. Robert Çeku, after giving a general overview of ALSAI audit activity, focused on the cooperation between the two institutions, as well as mutual assistance, in the context of Joint Agreement implementation between the two institutions.

Mr. Jezierski on his part, shared the same opinion with Mr. Çeku on the implementation of issues concerning the Joint Agreement, and expressed NIK committment on giving further incentive to the development of bilateral relations, by strengthening the support to ALSAI.

The President of NIK expressed as well the goodwill to host a group of auditors and to provide Polish experience in the field of environment by even materializing a joint project between the two institutions, in compliance with the spirit and principles of EUROSAI.

During the visit to Tirana, President Jezierski was received by the President of the Republic, Mr. Bamir Topi, who noted the valuable work of the ALSAI, which has already won a clear prospect, as an independent and contemporary institution that contributes to the consolidation of the state of law.
