This year program in pursuit of the remit from XIX INCOSAI included:
- presentations on experiences in the sphere of conducting audit of privatizations, economic regulation and public/private partnerships.
- break out sessions for delegates to discuss three key themes – audit of privatizations, economic regulation and public/private partnerships and feedback to the Working Group.
- discussion around the WG’s products including a new technical case study on financial services regulation and the Group’s future work and priorities.
The representatives of the Albanian SAI exchanged experiences and opinions with other participants concerning the procedures to be followed with regard to audit process, difficulties faced, how the process works and how to better implement international standards on these kinds of audits.
In conclusion, the WG agreed that the global financial crisis is having an impact on the work of SAI’s and some administrative issues as the cede of Group Chair. |
